‘Twas the night before the premiere and all through the house… yes, tomorrow sees the debut of Home Made In America With Sunny Anderson and we couldn’t be more excited! Since it’s the first show of the new series, we going to take a walk down memory lane and look back at the very first time Sunny appeared on the Food Network.
It was a special day for Sunny and the beginning of a dream even bigger than she could have dreamt for herself.
On the first episode, Sunny heads to Brooklyn to meet Carmen, a lifelong baker, whose homemade Latin and Italian flavored cupcakes have lead to her own bakery, Brooklyn Cupcake. Sunny gets the recipe that started it all; the Latin inspired Tres Leches Cupcake, and also one of the biggest sellers at Brooklyn Cupcake; the Flan Cupcake.
Then Sunny heads to Bellingham, Mass., to meet Steve, whose homemade Buffalo Wing Sauce is the talk of the town, and hundreds descend on his backyard for his monthly Wingfests parties to get a taste of Dirty Steve’s Wings. He’s revealing the secret recipe to Sunny for the first time ever.
Here’s to making even more dreams come true and we hope you love Home Made In America With Sunny Anderson, premiering on the Food Network tomorrow, October 6 at 9.30am ET/PT
