• 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter, diced


  1. Mix butter and flour. With your hands, or a pastry cutter, smash the butter pieces into the flour until they’re about pea sized.
  2. Add buttermilk. While mixing with your hands, pour in the milk. Once the dough come together, divide the dough into 6 balls and pat them flat.
  3. Bake. Place them onto a cast iron pan or sheet tray and bake at 400 for 20 minutes or until brown.
